TACCOM designed the original UltraLightWeight handguard for the Ruger PC Carbine with that short factory forearm, and it removed 4 ounces from the front end of your carbine. Since then Ruger has come out with their own aluminum tube and we’ve designed a lighter Carbon Fiber alternative that is 6 ounces lighter than the factory tube!!
It all comes down to which tube do you need for your carbine? The easy way is….if your carbine came from the factory with an aluminum tube, then you want the tube for $99.95. If your carbine came from the factory with a short plastic traditional style front grip, then you want the tube for $89.95
