Maximize the capacity on your 1911/2011-style double stack magazines with the Competitive Shooting Resource Group, Competition Follower & Spring Kit!
This kit includes the following:
- CSRG 2011/1911DS Competition Follower, made from durable nylon
- CSRG 11-coil or 13-coil Competition Spring (made by ISMI)
- We recommend using 11-coil springs for 141.25mm magazines
- We recommend using 13-coil springs for 171.25mm magazines
- Competition follower does NOT lock the slide open after firing the last round
- 23/24+1 capacity when used with 141.25mm Atlas/Checkmate/Staccato magazines (with competition-style base pads)
- 29/30+1 capacity when used with a 171.25mm Atlas/Checkmate magazines (with competition-style base pads)
- We recommend using a loading tool such as an UpLULA to achieve best results, and to fully load and unload the magazine a minimum of three times to set the spring in order to avoid malfunctions induced by excessive spring/feed lip pressure.
- Using this kit may still require you to tune your magazine tubes. CSRG is not responsible for malfunctions caused by out of spec or poorly tuned magazine tubes.
We have tested this spring kit in the following magazine tubes:
- Atlas
- Checkmate/Staccato
- SVI
This is NOT compatible with MBX Extreme magazines.
